Marvin Ducksch is no longer in Bremen having reached an agreement with the management to pause his individual rehabilitation training. The forward has been relieved of his duties in order to hold final talks with another club and complete a medical assessment.

Captain Marco Friedl was also absent again due to illness. Max Wöber trained alone due to a bruised knee sustained yesterday, as did Jens Stage (stress fracture in foot) and Justin Nijnmah (muscular issues). Meanwhile, Samuel Mbangula was able to return to full team training.
