SV Werder warmly invites fans to their 2025/26 season opening event. The Green-Whites will play a friendly against Italian top-division side Udinese at the Weserstadion on Saturday, 9th August (15:30 CEST). A diverse programme of events around the stadium has also been organised.

The DFL published the full fixture list for the 2025/26 season on Friday afternoon. SV Werder Bremen already knew they would start the season away against Eintracht Frankfurt (23rd-24th August 2025), with that fixture followed by a home game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen (29th-31st August 2025).

The DFL announced another one of the opening weekend fixtures for the 2025/26 Bundesliga season on Thursday afternoon. The Green-Whites will start their league campaign away against Eintracht Frankfurt at Deutsche Bank Park. The fixture will be played on either the 23rd or 24th August 2025.

The German Football Association (DFB) have confirmed the dates and kick-off times for all 32 first-round matches in the DFB-Pokal. SV Werder Bremen will travel to face Arminia Bielefeld on Friday, 15th August at 20:45 CEST.

SV Werder Bremen have reached another important decision regarding club personnel, specifically the extension of centre-back Niklas Stark’s contract with the Green-Whites, which was set to expire on 30th June 2026. The announcement was provided on Thursday by Peter Niemeyer, director of professional football at SVW.
